What better way to see Plymouth than from the sea

Set sail with Plymouth Boat Trips, Plymouth’s premier fishing, ferry and cruising company. 1 Hr Harbour Cruise
Our 1 hour scenic warships and harbour cruise departs daily from The Barbican Landing Stage, adjacent to the Mayflower Steps, Plymouth.

On departing the Mayflower Steps, your skipper will provide an informative commentary, as we sail across the spectacular Plymouth Sound flanked by the beautiful Devon and Cornish coasts. We pass Plymouth Hoe, the famous Drakes Island, heading for the river Tamar where the mighty warships and nuclear submarines await!

Calstock Cruise
A truly idyllic 5 hour boat trip, sailing up the stunning Tamar Valley to the beautiful Cornish Village of Calstock.
Includes: 1 hour run ashore.

River Yealm Cruise (2 Hour)
A stunning, 2 hour non-stop cruise sailing beyond Plymouth Sound to the tranquil River Yealm, taking in the breathtaking scenery & wildlife of the Devon coast.

*PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING: The River Yealm Cruise is subject to favourable sea conditions, if on the day the sea state is not suitable to get as far as the River Yealm this trip will revert to our popular Breakwater Cruise. If there is chance of this on the day the crew & skipper will communicate this to you prior to the trip departing.

Breakwater & Coastal Cruise (2 Hours)
2 Hour cruise passing the scenic smuggling villages of Cawsand & Kingsand, The Garrison Fort Bovisand, Jennycliff and the iconic Plymouth Breakwater.

3 1/2 hour Mackerel & Sea Fishing
Our boat fishing trips offer an exciting activity that’s suitable for everyone, from beginners to seasoned anglers. Fishing is a fantastic way to get out on the water, have fun and learn more about the local marine environment. All equipment and safety gear is provided on board so you don’t need to bring a thing, simply dress for the weather!

After catching enough mackerel, we will then head out to other areas, where we hope to catch other species, but please note this is weather pendant and cannot be guaranteed. Our skilled skipper will always try his best for you.

It is very rare that a fishing trip is cancelled unless in inclement weather conditions, as there are plenty of sheltered areas around the Plymouth Sound that enable the boats to still proceed in wet & windy conditions. So please be aware of this when booking the trip, as all our trips are non-refundable.

Happy sailing, whatever you choose!
